All As One is looking to enlist excited and caring teachers, students, parents, and school administrators to participate in our Children Caring About Children Project.  Each classroom deciding to sponsor the All As One Children’s Center will receive photos and introductions to many of the children they will be helping, as well as regular updates from the Children’s Center.  Voluntary donations of spare change can be collected and contributed by the students, in hopes of reaching 4 dirhams a day.

Through this sponsorship, students will have the opportunity to experience caring and concern for their peers across the globe.  Their eyes will be opened to a world bigger than their own.  In a time when advertisements for the latest toys are bombarding children in developed countries, this will provide awareness of those less fortunate, as well as a chance to practice generosity.

Teachers will also have the opportunity to creatively incorporate the All As One Children’s Center and Sierra Leone into their lessons.  To exercise their writing skills, students could be led in composing letters to the children at the Center.  Involvement in the sponsorship program can also be used to teach students Social Studies, Geography, simple accounting, and the basics principles of philanthropy.
